Join other Fairmount Park families and cheer on our local avian sports team as the Seattle Thunderbirds face off against the Tri-City Americans on Sunday, March 2 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent. The puck drops at 5:00 p.m. and tickets are just $20 per person. Please reserve and pay in advance via the PTA’s online store.

Tickets will be distributed via email prior to the event and we’ll all be seated together in the lower bowl. Besides the action on the ice, we’ll have a special visit from the coolest mascot in hockey, Cool Bird, and plenty of opportunities to see our smiling happy faces or dance moves up on the big screen. Wear your Falcon gear and watch out for a special Fairmount Park Elementary shout out as well.

Parking is free and available just across the street at the Kent/James St. Park & Ride (902 W James St, Kent, WA 98032). Games typically last 2.5-3 hours. Children ages 3 and older are required to have a ticket. Thunderbirds are part of the Western Hockey League, a developmental league for junior players 16-20 years old.
